Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Elections

Voters across Sussex go to the polls to choose the county’s next police and crime commissioner today.

Since 2012, PCCs have controlled forces’ budgets and set their priorities.

Sussex has four PCC candidates for 2024:

The current Commissioner, Katy Bourne, is standing again for the Conservatives.

Jamie Bennett stands for the Liberal Democrats, Jonathan Kent for the Green Party and Paul Richards for Labour.

There are local elections in Hastings and by-elections in Brighton Kemptown and Queen’s Park wards.
